Flight attendant reveals how to get free drinks on your next flight

A flight attendant has taken to the internet to reveal how passengers can get free drinks – and even air miles – on their next trip.

Sometimes, it really does pay to know the tips, tricks, and insider hacks of travel.

Let’s face it, air travel can be a stressful experience – though certainly something of a faraway dream for most of us at the present time.

If you’re dreaming of your next trip, though, then you’ll doubtless be interested to learn of a simple hack that might just land you free drinks on the flight, courtesy of a member of cabin crew.

Kat Kamalani, who works as a flight attendant in the United States, per the Sun, has revealed just how to get it done.

“This is the number one way that you can get a free drink on your next flight,” she said in a TikTok video.

“So if you’re sitting in your seat and your monitor or air conditioning or something is broken and we can’t fix it, we have a little iPhone that we can give you free complimentary drinks to make up for that mishap.”

However, she was quick to clarify that you must be polite in your request, otherwise you’ll likely be turned down.

“Don’t be shy, if something is broken, tell the flight attendant, but make sure you’re polite about it.

“Because if you’re rude and mean, we’re not going to give you a free drink.”

She also revealed that it’s worth trying your luck and calling customer service if your flight is delayed or cancelled. It’s likely they will give you air miles as an apology, Kamalani said.
