Beer brand Natural Light extends into spirits market with lemonade vodka range

Anheuser-Busch owned beer brand Natural Light debuts its first trio of lemonade vodkas, offering customers a taste satisfaction guarantee or their money back.

Bottles of Natty Light vodka: Beer brand natural light moves into spirits category with new lemonade vodka range

Natty Vodka is the latest launch from Natural Light beer, which has been around as a staple in the US since 1977.

The new range includes three flavours: Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Black Cherry Lemonade, all of which contain a 30%ABV. Bottles of 750ml and 50ml are available to purchase in selected stores across the US.

Natural Light is so confident in the taste of their product, the company is offering customers a money-back guarantee until 13 September if they do not like the product.

“We’re such believers in the taste of Natty Vodka, we’ll guarantee you’ll love it or you get money back,” said Daniel Blake, Group VP, Budweiser & Value at Anheuser-Busch.

“Natural Light is constantly looking to innovate to meet the evolving flavor preferences of our fans. Nothing is off the table,” he added. “Flavoured vodka is one of the fastest growing segments in spirits, and we knew Natty was the brand to show up to the party with a great tasting offering to set us apart.”

The launch follows Natural Light’s transition into the hard seltzer market in 2019. Previously this year, the brand has extended its portfolio with products including Naturdays Frozen Icicles, Natural Light Sour Seltzers, and Naturdays Pineapple Lemonade.

Natural light is currently the sixth most popular beer brand in the US, produced with premium hops and a mixture of malt and corn. Anheuser-Busch is owner of several beer brands across the United States, including Budweiser, Bud Light and Stella Artois. It operates 23 breweries, 14 distributorships and 23 agricultural and packaging facilities across the US.

Natural Light is not the only drinks brand picking up on the frozen popsicle trend with its Naturdays Frozen Icicles. Ready-to-freeze alcohol ice pops are set to be the next big trend. Read more on that here.
